Milk cotton (5 ply) yarn in 2 colours for the phone case and 2 colours for the flower and leaf
4.5 mm and 5 mm crochet hooks
Yarn needle

9.5 cm wide and 18 cm high

Instruction:
Round 1: Using 4.5 mm hook and colour A (pink) make 15 ch, sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in the next 12 ch, 3 sc in the last ch, sc in 12 ch on the other side, 2 sc in next ch. Join with a sl st to the 1st sc. (30 sc)
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, sc in next 12 sts, 2 sc in next 3 sts, sc in next 12 sts, 2 sc in next 2 sts. Join with a sl st to the 1st sc. (36 sc)
Switch to H/5 mm crochet hook.
Round 3: Ch 1, [sc, ch 1, sc] in 1st st, skip 2 sts, **[sc, ch 1, sc] in next st, skip next 2 sts** Repeat from ** to ** around. Join with a sl st to the 1st sc.
Round 4: Pull colour B (yellow) through the loop, sl st in ch-1 space, ch 3 (counts as hdc + ch 1), hdc in same space, repeat [hdc, ch 1, hdc] in every ch-1 space around. Join with a sl st to the 2nd ch.
Round 5: Pull colour A through the loop, [sc, ch 1, sc] in 1st st, skip 2 sts, **[sc, ch 1, sc] in next st, skip next 2 sts** Repeat from ** to ** around. Join with a sl st to the 1st sc.
Repeat rounds 4 and 5 until about 17 cm high finishing with round 5.
Switch to 4.5 mm hook.
Last round: Ch 1, sc in each st and in each ch-1 space around. Join with a sl st to the 1st sc and fasten off. (36 sc)
Flower
Use 4.5 mm hook.
Round 1: Using yellow make a magic ring, ch 1, 5 sc into ring. Join with a sl st to 1st sc. Close the ring and fasten off.
Round 2: Join next colour in any st and repeat [sc, 2 ch, dc, 2 ch, sc] in each st around. Join and fasten off.
Leaves (make 2)
Ch 7, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in the last ch, ch 3, sl st in 2nd and 3rd ch, sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, sl st in next ch and fasten off.
Finishing
Sew a button to the top middle of the case. Join yarn at the back right behind the button and make chs long enough to go around the button, sl st in the same st where the yarn was joined and fasten off. Weave in the loose ends of yarn.
Sew the leaves and flower to the bottom of the phone case.
