Materials Required:

Light worsted weight/DK weight/category 3 yarn approximately 500 meters

H/5 mm crochet hook

Yarn needle

Size:

The scarf is about 9 inches wide and 76 inches long

Stitches/Abbreviations Used:

** - Repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed

[ ] - Repeat instructions within brackets as a set as many times as directed

ch - chain

st/sts - stitch/stitches

dc - double crochet

Note:

The pattern is written in standard American terms

For a custom width make chains in multiples of 10 + 3

Instruction:

Row 1: Ch 43, dc in 4^th ch from hook, dc in next 3 ch, **skip 2 ch, dc in next 4 ch, ch 2, dc in next 4 ch** Repeat from ** to ** across, skip 2 ch, dc in next 3 ch, 2 dc in last ch. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next 3 dc, **skip 2 dc, dc in next 3 dc, [dc, ch 2, dc] in next ch-2 space, dc in next 3 dc** Repeat from ** to ** across, skip 2 dc, dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in last st. Turn.

Repeat rows 2 as many times as you want. Fasten off and weave in all the loose ends.
