Row 1: Join yarn in any stitch at a joint and ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in rest of the chs across, sl st in the next 2 sts of the sweater. Turn. (6 sc)
Row 2 (front loops only): sc in the front
loops of 6 sts. Turn.
Row 3 (back loops only): Ch 1, sc in the back
loops of 6 sts, sl st in the next 2 sts of the sweater. Turn.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 around. When you reach the end
cut off yarn and weave in the ends together.
While working ribbing for the neck, work a round of sc around the neck opening before working ribbing. Work the round of sc using the smaller hook and the number of sts is not important. Weave in all the loose ends.
Do you have a pattern for this is adult sizes? I made one for my toddler and would love to have a matching one!
ReplyDeleteI don't have an adult size but if your size is small then the 10-12 year size might fit you as the finished chest circumference is 19 inches
DeleteThank you for this gorgeous pattern! I found it on revelry while looking for a basic toddler sweater pattern and I immediately fell in love with the stitch pattern. I made one for my daughter in Halloween colors, she's only 2 but she's so excited to wear it this season. I'll probably make it a few more times in other holidays color themes!
