This is a beautiful and delicate stitch pattern that you can use for your shawls or cardigans. It's easy and looks elegant.

Use any yarn and a suitable hook. I used sport weight/category 2 yarn and 3.5 mm crochet hook. 

Abbreviations/Stitches Used:

** - Repeat instructions within asterisks as many times as directed

[ ] - Repeat instructions within parenthesis as a set as many times as directed

ch/chs - chain/chains

st/sts - stitch/stitches

sl st - slip stitch

sc - single crochet 

dc - double crochet

Instruction:

Make chs in multiples of 10 +2

Row 1: sc in 2^nd and 3^rd ch, ch 6, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch, ch 6, skip 3 ch, **sc in next 3 ch, ch 6, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch, ch 6, skip 3 ch** Repeat ** to **, sc in last 2 ch. Turn.

Row 2: ch 1, sc in same st, **[ch 4, sc in ch-6 space] 2 times, ch 4, sc in 2^nd sc** Repeat ** to **

Row 3: Ch 5, skip 1^st ch-4 space, 9 dc in next ch-4 space, **ch 4, skip next two ch-4 spaces, 9 dc in next ch-4 space** Repeat ** to ** ch 2, dc in last sc. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 6, skip 3 dc, sc in next 3 dc, ch 6, **sc in ch-4 space, ch 6, skip 3 dc, sc in next 3 dc, ch 6** Repeat ** to ** sc in last space. Turn.
