Ch 4, join the last
ch with a sl st to the 1st ch to form a ring.
Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1st
st in every row), 4 dc, ch 2, 5 dc into ring. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in same
st, dc in next 4 sts, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in ch-2 space, dc in next 4 sts, 3 dc
in last st. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in same
st, dc in rest of the sts until the ch-2 space, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in ch-2
space, dc in rest of the sts except the last, 3 dc in last st. Turn.
Row 4: Ch 4 (counts as 1st
st + ch 1), dc in same st, *ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st,* Repeat from
* to * until the dc before the ch-2 space, ch 1, [dc, ch 1, dc, ch 2, dc, ch 1,
dc] in ch-2 space, ch 1, **dc in next st, ch 1, skip next st** Repeat from **
to ** across finishing with [dc, ch 1, dc] in last st. Turn.
Row 5: Ch 3 (counts as 1st
st), 2 dc in same st, *dc in next ch-1 space, dc in next dc* Repeat from *
to * until the dc before the ch-2 space, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in ch-2 space, dc
in next dc, **dc in next ch-1 space, dc in next st** Repeat from ** to ** until
the last space, 3 dc in the last st. Turn.
Row 6: Ch 3, 2 dc in same
st, fpdc in rest of the sts until the ch-2 space, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in ch-2
space, fpdc in rest of the sts except the last, 3 dc in last st. Turn.
Repeat row 3 to 6 until the desired size is reached.
