Today's pattern is a very pretty scarf/shawlette. I used a multicolor sport weight yarn which I guess is a perfect choice for this pattern. This triangle scarf measures about 70 inches from one end to the other and has a depth of 15 inches.

Row 5: sc in 2nd
and 3rd ch from the hook, sc in the back loops of rest of the sts
across. Turn. (6 sts)
Row 6: Ch 5 (counts as tr +
ch 1), skip next st, tr in next st, ch 1, skip next st, tr in next st, ch 3. Turn.
Row 7: sc in 2nd
and 3rd ch from the hook, sc in the each st and each ch-1 space across.
Turn. (7 sts)
Row 8: Ch 3 (counts as
1st st), dc in the front loops of rest of the sts except the last,

Row 9: sc in the 2nd

Continue the pattern repeating the rows 11 to 14 sixteen more times or until you have 20 ch-1 spaces in the last row.
Row 79: sc in the 3rd ch from the hook, sc in the each st and each ch-1 space across. Turn. (42 sts)
