Meet Heidi, the cute little golden haired girl! I released the pattern for Heidi few days ago but couldn't find the interest to talk about her here. Lately I seem to be losing interest in writing blog posts or even reading one. I hope I'll get over it soon. Currently I'm working on a free pattern for the blog. I'm not going to reveal what it is now not because I want to keep it as a secret but because I may not even complete it. I'm like that, very unpredictable and easily distracted. I may lose interest and put it aside. Anyway I'm hoping to complete it by this weekend if possible.
My first knit sweater is half done. I have to start the sleeves. There are no decreases or increases so far and nothing complicated, just knit and purl, but still I have managed to make mistakes and since I don't know how to correct them I just carried on.
I took a break from doll making and finished a baby blanket. It's called the sampler stripes blanket and the pattern will be ready soon. Ok, now more about Heidi ...
She looks very studious with her book and school girl looks, right?
The pattern includes lot of step-by-step photos. Her skirt is detachable but not the sweater. You can buy the pattern from here or from any of my other shops.
Have a nice weekend!
I love that doll! But I also like that baby blanket very much, mostly because of the pretty and unique colors that you're using. And I totally recognise that feeling: not knowing if you can complete the pattern, because there is always a chance that a new project asks your full attention :-) Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
