Wow! I can't believe it. I really can't believe that in just about a week I had developed the pattern and finished the blanket. Only about a week ago I went yarn shopping to refill my stock. I did not have anything particular in mind, definitely not a blanket. I just needed some new colours and it had been some time since my last yarn shopping. As soon as I reached home and began sorting through the yarns these three colours popped out and caught my attention.
I wanted to make something using these gorgeous colours and I could only think of ruffles. So I sat down and developed this pattern for a baby blanket with plenty of ruffles. I am not the one who enjoys crocheting blankets. I always love to make small items. Huge ones don't attract me. I usually get bored with large projects and almost always give them up half way through, but this time it was different.
This whole week I hardly spent time in front of the computer. I was always in front of the TV hooking rows and rows of ruffles. However, I should admit that I was relieved when I completed the last round as I had begun to grow impatient. Anyway the blanket is now finished and I am extremely satisfied with the result. I am pleased that it turned out exactly the way I had envisioned it. It is so soft, fluffy and cuddly and I could sleep happily hugging it. You can imagine how cozy your little one will feel wrapped up in all these ruffles.
Have a great week ahead!
