Materials:

Sport weight/light worsted weight yarn approximately 450 meters

G/4 mm crochet hook

Yarn needle

Size:

Approximately 9 inches wide and 70 inches long 

Stitches/Abbreviations Used:

** - Repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed

st/sts - stitch/stitches

ch - chain

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

Note:

The pattern is written in standard American terms

For a custom width make chains in multiples of 11 + 2

Instruction:

Row 1: Ch 46, sc in 2^nd ch from hook, **ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next 2 ch, ch 2, skip 2 ch, sc in next 5 ch** Repeat from ** to ** across. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 5 (counts as dc + ch 2), dc in same st, [ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st] 2 times, ch 1, dc in ch-2 space, **5 dc in next ch-2 space, ch 2, dc in next st, [ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st] 2 times, ch 1, dc in ch-2 space** Repeat from ** to ** across, 4 dc in the last ch-2 space, dc in last sc. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 5 (counts as dc + ch 2), dc in same st, [ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st] 2 times, ch 1, dc in next ch-1 space, **skip next 2 ch-1 spaces, 5 dc in next ch-2 space, ch 2, dc in next st, [ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st] 2 times, ch 1, dc in next ch-1 space** Repeat from ** to ** across, skip next 2 ch-1 spaces, 5 dc in the last space.
