Materials:

Medium worsted weight yarn 2 skeins measuring 100 gm each

G/4 mm crochet hook

Yarn needle

Size:

About 7.5 inches wide and 64 inches long

Stitches/Abbreviations Used:

** - Repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed

ch - chain

st/sts - stitch/stitches

dc - double crochet (UK - treble)

Notes:

• The pattern is written in standard US terms
• For a custom width make chains in multiples of 4

Instruction

Row 1: Ch 36, 3 dc in 6^th ch from hook, **ch 1, skip 3 ch, 3 dc in next ch** Repeat from ** to ** across, you’ll have 2 ch left, skip next ch, dc in next ch. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 4, skip 2 dc, 3 dc in next dc, **ch 1, skip 2 dc, 3 dc in the next dc** Repeat from ** to ** 5 more times, ch 1, skip 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in last st. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, dc in same st, **ch 1, skip next ch-1 space, 3 dc in next dc** Repeat from ** to ** 6 more times, ch 1, skip 2 sts and next ch, 2 dc in next ch. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 3, 2 dc in next st, **ch 1, skip 2 dc, 3 dc in next dc** Repeat from ** to ** 6 more times, ch 1, dc in last st. Turn.  

Row 5: Ch 3, skip next ch-1 space, 3 dc in next dc, **ch 1, skip next ch-1 space, 3 dc in next dc** Repeat from ** to ** 6 more times, dc in last st. Turn.

Repeat rows 2 to 5 as many times as you want. Add tassels if desired.
