Materials:

Medium worsted weight/category 4 yarn approximately 450 meters

5.5 mm crochet hook

Yarn needle

Size:

Approximately 7 inches wide and 65 inches long.

Stitches/Abbreviations Used:

** - Repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed

ch - chain

st/sts - stitch/stitches

dc - double crochet

fpdc - front post double crochet

bpdc - back post double crochet

Notes:

For a custom width make chains in multiples of 6 + 4

Instruction:

Row 1: Ch 28, skip 3 ch, dc in the 4^th ch from hook, dc in rest of the chs across. (26 sts). Turn. (skipped 3 ch will count as the 1^st st)

Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1^st st), **fpdc in next 3 sts, bpdc in next 3 sts** Repeat from ** to ** across, dc in last st. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 2 (counts as 1^st st), **fpdc in next 3 sts, bpdc in next 3 sts** Repeat from ** to ** across, dc in last st. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 2 (counts as 1^st st), **bpdc in next 3 sts, fpdc in next 3 sts** Repeat from ** to ** across, dc in last st. Turn.

Row 5: Ch 2 (counts as 1^st st), **bpdc in next 3 sts, fpdc in next 3 sts** Repeat from ** to ** across, dc in last st. Turn.
