Colourful crochet square

This square with an intricate looking design is actually easy and uses only single and double crochet stitches. The square can be made in any size. It can be made small and joined together to make bags, cushion covers or baby blankets. It can be made as a large single square for a throw or an afghan. In my previous post I hade used the smallest version of this square to make a bag, You can view it here. I had joined slightly larger squares to make a cushion cover.
