Light worsted weight/DK weight yarn approximately 700 meters

4.5 mm hook

Yarn needle

Size:

About 17 inches wide and 66 inches long

Stitches/Abbreviations Used:

** - repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed

[ ] - repeat instructions within parenthesis as a set as many times as directed

ch/chs - chain/chains

st/sts - stitch/stitches

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

Instruction

Row 1: Ch 79, sc in 2^nd ch from hook, **ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next 2 ch, ch 2, skip 2 ch, sc in next 5 ch** Repeat from ** to ** across. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 5, dc in same st, [ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st] 2 times, ch 1, dc in ch-2 space, **5 dc in the next ch-2 space, ch 2, dc in next sc, [ch 1, skip next sc, dc in next sc] 2 times, ch 1, dc in the next ch-2 space**  Repeat from ** to ** across, 4 dc in the last space, dc in last st. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 5, dc in same st, [ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st] 2 times, ch 1, dc in the next ch-1 space, **skip next two ch-1 spaces, 5 dc in next ch-2 space, ch 2, dc in next dc, [ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next dc] 2 times, ch 1, dc in the next ch-1 space**  Repeat from ** to ** across, 5 dc in the last space. Turn.

Repeat row 3 until you reach the desired length.
