This pattern is for a beautiful crochet shawl with dragonflies and lovely lace border. It's an easy pattern and suitable for beginners. Materials:

ch from hook, dc in rest of chs across. Turn. (81 sts)
Row 2: Ch 3, dc in next 7
sts, ch 2, skip next st, **dc in next 15 sts, ch 2, skip next st** Repeat from
** to ** 3 more times, dc in last 8 sts.
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in next 2 sts,
**ch 11, skip 5 sts before and after ch-2 space, work dc in the next 5 sts** Repeat
from ** to ** across finishing the row with dc in the last 3 sts following 11
chs. Turn.
Row 4: Ch 3, dc in next
st, 2 dc in next st, ch 4, dc in the ch-2 space one row below, ch 4, 2 dc in
