Sport weight/category 2 yarn approximately 650 meters/710 yards

Crochet hook G/4 mm

Yarn needle

Size:

The finished shawl measures approximately 18 inches wide and 78 inches long

Abbreviations/Stitches Used:

** - Repeat instructions within asterisks as many times as directed

ch - chain

st/sts - stitch/stitches

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

tr3tog - treble crochet 3 consecutive stitches worked together

Note:

• The pattern is written in standard American terms
• For a custom width make chains in multiples of 10 + 2

Instruction

Row 1: Ch 92, sc in 2nd ch from hook, **ch 5, skip 1 ch, tr3tog, ch 1, skip 1 ch, tr3tog, ch 5, skip 1 ch, sc in next ch** Repeat from ** to ** across. Turn

Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as tr), tr3tog in ch-5 space, ch 5, **sc in ch-1 space, ch 5, tr3tog in ch-5 space, ch 1, tr3tog in next ch-5 space, ch 5** Repeat from ** to ** across, tr in last sc. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, **ch 5, tr3tog in next ch-5 space, ch 1, tr3tog in next ch-5 space, ch 5, sc in next ch-1 space** Repeat from ** to ** across finishing with sc in the last tr. Turn.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you reach the desired length.
