My first big project when I learnt to crochet was a filet crochet table cloth. It was very easy as you use only chains and double crochet stitches. Then I slowly progressed to more advanced stitches and techniques and filet crochet took a back seat. Lately I had been seeing a few filet crochet bags on Pinterest and I wanted one for me too. So I designed this very simple bag and I'm so much in love with this design that I'm considering making a pullover using this pattern.

ReplyDeleteHave a nice day !

I have made 2 so far! They work up quickly and are so pretty! Thank you for sharing the pattern.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the size of this bag? If one has to make it bigger or smaller, what is the number of starting chains? Thanks
ReplyDeleteThe bag is 27 cm wide and 30 cm high. Up to round 8 are the increasing rounds. You may increase or decrease the number of rounds to make the bag bigger or smaller making sure that the number of sts in the final increasing round is in multiples of 8. If you are getting fewer stitches work one more round increasing the sts to get the total number in multiples of 8
