Hey everybody, here is a free pattern for you today. I have been seeing messy bun hats or ponytail hats everywhere lately and decided to jump on the bandwagon though a little late. I know there are already plenty of patterns on the internet but I wanted to use this beautiful texture stitch and a ponytail hat seemed to be right choice to use it. So here is it.

In the very first round it says after the double crochets that there will be 25 stitches. Should this be 24? Otherwise when you go to do the first round of cross-stitches you have an empty Stitch.
ReplyDeleteDid ou ever get reply??

DeleteHi! I'm a beginner crocheter, but your pattern is easy to follow! On round 3, how many chains should i make? It looks like you meant to insert a number...
ReplyDeleteIt should have been ch 1. Sorry about responding so late. Sometimes I don't get notification of the comments and I saw yours only by chance.
DeleteI really like this pattern, however I have tried it three times and it is way to small everytime... any thoughts on what I am doing wrong.
ReplyDeleteTry using a bigger hook.
