Assembling

With the wrong side out sew both the shoulder joints.
Using a stitch marker attach the center of the top part of sleeve to the shoulder joint. Also mark the rows where both ends of the sleeve falls making sure that both the ends fall at the same number of row on both the sides. Then start sewing from one end of the sleeve to the other.

Then starting from the cuff sew up to armhole, and then continue down the side.

Ribbing

Use 4.5 mm crochet hook and work with the right side out. Work ribbing around the bottom of the sweater and both the sleeves as well as the neck.

Row 1: Join yarn in any stitch at a joint and ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in rest of the chs across, sl st in the next 2 sts of the sweater. Turn. (6 sc)

Row 2 (front loops only): sc in the front loops of 6 sts. Turn.

Row 3 (back loops only): Ch 1, sc in the back loops of 6 sts, sl st in the next 2 sts of the sweater. Turn.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 around. When you reach the end cut off yarn and weave in the ends together.

While working ribbing for the neck, work a round of sc around the neck opening before working ribbing. Work the round of sc using the smaller hook and the number of sts is not important. Weave in all the loose ends.

    1. I don't have an adult size but if your size is small then the 10-12 year size might fit you as the finished chest circumference is 19 inches

  2. Thank you for this gorgeous pattern! I found it on revelry while looking for a basic toddler sweater pattern and I immediately fell in love with the stitch pattern. I made one for my daughter in Halloween colors, she's only 2 but she's so excited to wear it this season. I'll probably make it a few more times in other holidays color themes!
