Harmony - crochet lace scarf free pattern


Harmony is a gorgeous lace shawl that is made using an easy open work pattern. Since only basic crochet stitches are used this pattern is suitable for a beginner. 

Materials:
Super fine/category 1 yarn approximately 600 to 650 meters
G/4 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle

Size:
Approximately 11 inches after blocking and 76 inches long. Length can be adjusted.

Stitches/Abbreviations Used:
** - work instructions within asterisks as many times as directed
ch - chain
st/sts - stitch/stiches
dc - double crochet
tr - treble

Note:
  • The pattern is written in standard American terms
  • For a custom width make chains in multiples of 6 + 4

Instruction

Row 1: Ch 94, dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 5, skip 5 ch, **3 dc in next ch, ch 5, skip 5 ch** Repeat from ** to ** across, 2 dc in last ch. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 6, **dc in ch-5 space, ch 3, dc in 2nd dc, ch 3** Repeat from ** to ** across finishing with dc in last st. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 6, **3 dc in next dc, ch 5, skip next dc** Repeat from ** to ** until the last dc, ch 2, tr in last space. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 6, **dc in 2nd st, ch 3, dc in ch-5 space, ch 3** Repeat from ** to ** across, dc in last space. Turn.

Row 5: Ch 3, dc in same st, ch 5, skip next dc, **3 dc in next dc, ch 5, skip next dc** Repeat from ** to ** across finishing with 2 dc in last space. Turn.

Repeat rows 2 to 5.
