Lace summer top - free pattern

I have a few abandoned projects, in various stages of completion. Some of these, like this top here, though completed were never published due to various reasons even unknown to me. It could be possible that I lost interest somewhere down the line or simple forgot about their existence. I think this was my first attempt at designing an adult clothing.

My last free pattern was in April which you can find by clicking here. It's been 3 months and I think you're long overdue for a free pattern. If you are a beginner crocheter and would like to step into the world of adult clothing I think this would be the right pattern for you.

This is an easy pattern suitable for a beginner. I have used sport weight yarn and size G/4.00 mm crochet hook. You will need approximately 450 to 650 yards of yarn. The pattern includes 4 size.

  2. This top looks so beautiful! I would make it a little bit longer because I don't like to wear short tops, but I'd choose the same color :-)

  4. I am relatively new to this and just want to make sure that I'm understanding things correctly. The gauge says 18dc and 9 rows. Does this mean 18dc in every stitch or in pattern? I'm assuming that because it doesn't say 'in pattern' it means every stitch but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the pattern and your help.

  5. Love this top. I went up a hook size to compensate for bust size. If I were to make another, would I just add multiples of 6? I also added rows for length, including 2 in top section.

  6. Hi! I love this top. I’m working on my second one now. What brand of yarn did you use?

    1. It was a locally available yarn without any brand name

  7. Could I just complete the back neck line rather than have the flap for the front
