Filet Crochet Tablecloth


As far as I can remember this was my very first crochet project (major one). I learnt to crochet while in college. My classmate taught me to do hair bands. Once I learnt the trick I graduated to doing doileys. Then I got this pattern from a friend and started doing it immediately. It took me ages to finish it. I can't say I fnished it exactly, I didn't do the edges. I didn't have the patience to do it.

  3. Thanks for linking up to Fibers on Friday....welcome! It's beautiful! i was once given a set of things needed to learn filet crochet. I just didn't get it. One whole side of my family has their last name's done on doilies...beautiful, I just can't do it@!
