I made him last month when I had this short-term amigurumi mania. He is not even with me anymore. He's gone off to a new home to befriend a little girl. Poor guy, he went off without a nose. I forgot to give him one.

Ruffle heart pillow

Only recently I realized my fondness for ruffles. It all started with the ruffled legwarmers and then I went on to design a ruffled hat, ruffled scarf, ruffle blanket and now it is a ruffle heart. I got the idea for the pillow when I was crocheting the granny sweet hearts. I was seeing hearts everywhere and wondering why I didn't come up with any. 

With only a little more than a week left for Valentine's Day I worked like crazy and finished the pattern within a couple of days. So if anyone's planning to make one before Valentine's Day you can purchase the pattern from my Etsy, Craftsy and Ravelry stores.

Granny sweet heart

I found the pattern for these pretty hearts at yarn pumpkin. It is called granny sweet heart. The pattern can be found here. Thank you Nancy for this wonderful pattern. I am not able to leave a comment in your blog for some reason. It is really such a sweet pattern. 

I was planning to make a garland but something else came up and I ended up making only 3 hearts. Later on I will make some more hearts and make a pretty little garland.

Decorative crochet

There is a wall in our house which needs some cover up. I decided to do it with crochet. So right now I am on a potholder/wall decor making spree. 

These two were adapted from patterns from Japanese crochet magazines.
