Hello everyone! Before I tell you about this new project I want to thank you all for your comments on my doodles and sketches. I am more confident now. I am not that bad after all!
Last weekend we made a short 3-day trip to
Madhya Pradesh. We visited
Gwalior and lesser known tourist destinations like
Orchha, and
Chitrakoot. It was good to take a break but we couldn't cover all the places and I was a bit disappointed that the places that we missed were the ones that were on the top of my "must see" list.

Coming to my latest crochet project, what do you think of this pile of mess?
This is my collection of finished and unfinished projects. While working on patterns for my shop normally I end up with 4 or 5 finished items for each pattern. I always give away the good ones to friends and the pile that you see above are the leftovers and the not so good ones or incomplete ones. The pile has been getting bigger and bigger and I didn't know what to do with it. I don't enjoy doing anything huge, so I had been putting away this thought of making an afghan or rug but there was no other way that I could use these yarns and I didn't have the heart to throw them away. That's lot of yarn!
So yesterday I finally made up my mind to crochet a rug. I pulled all the stuff out and dumped them all into a large bucket. The bucket is overflowing. I completed about 10 rows yesterday. The rug is going to be 42 inches wide without a border.
My hands are pretty full at this time and I don't even know if I would ever complete it but it's fun and I'm loving it.
