Patterns! Patterns! Patterns! Nowadays I don't seem to be having anything else in my mind other than patterns. Every time after finishing a pattern I tell myself that I should take it easy, take a break and concentrate on other things too, but I don't seem to have control over myself. Even before a pattern is completed something else springs up and I don't seem to be able to put down my hook and yarn.
My initial idea was to do this lovely scarf in a single color and give a border in contrasting color. I started off with the royal blue but after a few rows I got bored of going on with the same color again and again, so chose to add one more color. The green seemed to go well with the blue, but after completing a few rows in green I felt I should also add cream. So what I initially had in mind is not at all what you see here. This seems to always happen to me. I plan something and end up with something else. Anyway I love this lacy shell pattern and you can buy the pattern from here, here or here.
