Crochet christmas tree

Hi everybody, and a special "hi" to all my new friends. Happy to see you all here.  You all make me feel great. Thanks for all the lovely comments you leave here.

I guess all of you have started your Christmas preparations. I haven't got into the Christmas mood yet, or rather I should say I lost it in between. I had planned so many things. I wanted to do this, I wanted to do that...but somehow I got bogged down by other things and now I lost the mood. I am trying very hard to get my mojo back.

This Christmas tree is one successful thing I completed out of many that I had planned.  The pattern for this tree is from here. There were also other Christmass tree patterns that I wanted to try... may be for next Christmas.

That's it for now ladies. Have a great weekend.

My Crochet Christmas tree pattern is available here

  7. I spent much of last night searching for a pattern for a tree like this. Michaels! I didn't look there! It was right under my nose and I didn't know it! Thank you SO MUCH for this link! Your tree is adorable! I hear you about losing the mojo. It's all so quick and overwhelming! It sneaks up because we don't want to think about it too early and then when it's time to think about it, there are so many other things to do, we just can't get it all done! Please find comfort in knowing that you are NOT the ONLY ONE who has lost her mojo! There's something very pacifying about deciding to do it for next year. We just need to start in January! LOL Hugs to you. Annette

  28. Hi
I had seen this pattern at Michael's and wanted to make it. The amount of yarn needed for this is not specified in the pattern. It would really help me out a lot if you could direct me as to how much of each yarn is required for this. Also, did you use the two colors as specified in the original pattern?

    1. I'm sorry, Joyce. I made it long ago and don't remember how much yarn I needed, also I used yarn from my stash and not the ones specified in the original pattern.

  29. Hi Pradeepa,
thanks for replying! I got a 100g ball of acrylic DK yarn. I've now finished the base and run through around half a ball of the yarn (I made the base a little longer).. I think 100g yarn must be plenty for this.. will let you know how it turns out. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have made the pattern so many times you would think that I could make it without a pattern. Would you be willing to share a copy?? donnagle@comcast.net
