Multicolor Rug

I had some leftover wool of various colors tangled up in a mess. Using these I made squares of different sizes and joined them together to form a colorful rug.

I wanted to make the edges broader using black wool but I ran out of the color. Also, I lost interest and just dropped the idea and left it as such. May be some other time I will finish it.

Bead Embroidery in Salwar Top

My newly stitched salwar looked very simple and plain, so I thought of doing some embroidery work in it using the beads and sequins which were lying around without any use for quite some time.

I think I have done a good job.

Crochet Purse with Bead Embroidery

This crochet purse is big enough to hold my cellphone, keys and money. It is quite easy to make too. I got the basic pattern from here and adapted it.

I used beads to embroider a flower on it. The result is a cute purse.

You can line the purse with fabric and add zipper if you wish but I haven't done it yet. You can get the tutorial for lining a crocheted bag from here.
